Into the Sun
I run toward the sun for its warmth, its light and its vitality.
I forsake the possibility of burning in its rays as I soak up the energy which illuminates the day.
I begin at sunrise following the sun until it races into the distance, dropping below the horizon as the sky explodes with red, orange and blue hues.
I lay in anticipation until the morning and the dawn of another day.
Life is dreary and depressing without you my friend.
