Snapshot Sunday – Hike of Grandeur
Hiking can be a long and strenuous activity.
Not only is it great for your health but also a great stress reliever.
It can cleanse your soul and free your mind.
This particular hike in Zion National Park was pure joy, trekking through the sandstone mountains as if I was the only person on earth.
I hiked the trail free of other travels for majority of the route.
Even the silence had a feel of grandeur in keeping with the beautiful valley.
Great photo, and your words match the majesty of the place. “trekking through the sandstone mountains as if I was the only person on earth” ~ this is the feeling that makes me get out into the parks around the US (and the world for that matter), and feel relaxed and grateful to be able to have such opportunity. Well done!

Love your blog. Don’t mean to be a nuisance in posting this here but have any advice for a fairly new blogger? You seem pretty awesome at this stuff. zachfitzner@yahoo.com

I mostly stay along the coast, too many beautiful beaches, but I’d love to do a hike one of these days. Canyoneering looks incredible also.
